Chris Horton is a Senior Manager with over 20 years of experience in performance audits, financial audits, and risk analysis. Currently at RMA, Chris is responsible for managing performance audits, supporting financial audits, and providing leadership in various professional venues. Passionate about learning, Chris Horton holds numerous certifications in auditing, risk management, or financial management. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Arts in History from the University of Texas Permian Basin, and a Ph.D. in Public Administration from Arizona State University. Chris is currently working toward his law degree at The Catholic University of America. Chris is a former President of the Association of Local Government Auditors, the premier local government auditing organization in the United States and Canada. Outside of work, Chris enjoys working on behalf of his church, spending time with family, running, and traveling.
